Behind many familiar logos and trusted brands are small business owners seeking to increase opportunity—not just for themselves—but for their entire community.
Franchising is a pillar of the American economy. The franchise model creates jobs, opportunity and ownership. While the model contributes $674 billion to the U.S. economy, it also creates opportunity for minorities, women, veterans, and young entrepreneurs.
By joining together to form the Franchise Action Network, we seek to create jobs and strengthen America’s economy. Join the Franchise Action Network to get engaged and receive updates about the franchise industry.
The International Franchise Association, in coordination with the Franchise Action Network has launched an economic impact initiative to explore the numbers behind the business model and to discover how franchising has contributed to national, state, and local markets through job creation and output. The National Impact of Franchising gives a comprehensive and granular perspective on all 50 states and 435 Congressional districts, so that constituents and members of Congress alike can educate themselves and others on the far reaching economic impacts of the business model.
